Hadley Pilot Vintage 40

The Pilot Vintage 40 is a faithful reissue of a 1944 Hadley & Finch field-pilot watch originally produced for civilian flight schools in the post-war years. The 40mm CuSn8 bronze case develops a soft patina with wear, echoing the brass instrument bezels of the era's cockpit panels.

The matte black dial carries an outer railroad minute track, oversized Arabic numerals, and a small triangle at twelve — the cleanest possible reading in low light. A Swiss automatic movement provides 42 hours of power reserve, and the case is rated to 50m to allow for everyday weather without ceremony.
